MEMBERSHIP FAQS

1. WHAT ARE THE CATEGORIES AND PRICES OF MEMBERSHIP? 

We offer two levels of memberships:

• Regular membership ($60/year)
• Student membership - Free
  

2. Do sponsors get any free memberships? 

Not at this time.   We are evaluating a possible change in the sponsorships/partnership that might include memberships based upon various tiers.   This may become available for 2026.

3. WHAT IS THE TERM OF MEMBERSHIP? 

Memberships are valid from October 1 through September 30.   The renewal cycle begins with reminders in September.   Membership is considered lapsed if not renewed by October 15.

4. What are the benefits of membership? 

Members receive:

• listing and access to the password-protected online membership directory
• reduced fees to our association events
• opportunities to earn CPE credits
• opportunities to participate on our committees
• opportunities for companies to partner with MWTA by hosting special events and networking functions 

5. What methods of payment do you accept? 

MWTA accepts the following forms of payment:

• Checks (payable to MWTA, sent to P.O. Box 1402, Birmingham, MI 48012)
• Credit card payment via AffiniPay (email mwtacpe@gmail.com for additional information.)
