MICHIGAN WOMEN'S TAX FOUNDATIONStudents are the future of the industry. By making an investment in that future, the Michigan Women’s Tax Association (MWTA) hopes to foster the talent that will build a better tax community for tomorrow. Scholarships: Each year the MWTA’s Foundation awards annual scholarships to female students pursuing a career in taxation who demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in academics and participate in extracurricular activities related to the field of taxation. In recent years, the Foundation has awarded individual scholarships in the range of $1,000 to $5,000 with total annual awards up to $11,500.
